Taking Your Brand To Far; Case in Point Nicki Minaj

Now i'm sure to some of you this may be seen as a hater. But trust and believe I am far from it. I am all for creativity and trend setting but there is a such thing as going to far. For instance Nicki Minaj, love the girl to death she has a gimmick and it works for her and in the end its all about making money for yourself and your label. 


The Barbie trend was not started by her so I can not give her points on originality, all she is doing is bringing trends from Japan over to the Unites States. Now to each its own but if my daughter ever came home telling me Mommy I would love it if you brought me a blonde and pink wig, corset and some spiked glasses, that would be a sign for boarding school ASAP.. LOL


Yes it fierce, yes thats her style, and she's getting all the attention in the world for the outfits she puts on but ladies its not made for everyone so those Nicki stans please do not show up to work tomorrow looking like an ass we already have one. Ladies Make Some Noise Tour

As we all know I am the biggest R Kelly fan, so I did what ever I needed to in order to get tickets to his second show at Constitution Hall on November 25th. That dream came true when i won the tix of the radio and all it cost me was my pride... and I graced the airwaves with my voice and beautiful rendition of 12 play (my favorite R Kelly song, well one of them). Much to my surprise that was not the only talented person on the show's bill.
